New presidents appointed at Volvo trucks North America and Mack trucks inc.
NEW PRESIDENTs APPOINTED AT VOLVO TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA and mack trucks inc. Volvo Global Trucks has appointed new presidents at its North American operations, Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks Inc. Mr. Michel Gigou has been appointed President of Volvo Trucks North America. He will report to the President of Volvo Truck Corporation. He will remain in his current position as Senior Vice President and a member of the Volvo Global Trucks management team. Michel Gigou has many years' experience in the car and truck industry. Since 1996 he has been President and CEO of Mack Trucks Inc. and from 1991, until joining Mack, Mr.Gigou was Managing Director of Renault UK. New President of Mack Trucks Inc. He will be replaced as President of Mack Trucks Inc. by Mr. Paul Vikner. Mr. Vikner will report to the President of Volvo Global Trucks and be a member of the management team. Paul Vikner joined Mack in 1995 as Senior Vice President, Sales and a member of the management team. In 1996 he was appointed Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Prior to this he held several senior positions in leading truck companies in the United States. Both appointments take effect in early July.
