Renault Trucks received order for 2,820 trucks

RENAULT TRUCKS RECEIVED ORDER FOR 2,820 TRUCKS AB Volvo's subsidiary Renault Trucks has received an order from the French Armed Forces covering delivery of 2,820 trucks. The order is estimated at a value of EUR 160 M (about SEK 1.5 billion) during a five- year period. The trucks ordered, the GBC 180 model, will be manufactured at Renault's plant in Limoges, France. Deliveries will begin immediately and continue during a five-year period. The GBC 180 is the predominant truck in the French Armed Forces.
