Tony Helsham named new President of Volvo Construction Equipment

TONY HELSHAM NAMED NEW PRESIDENT OF VOLVO CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT Tony Helsham has been named the new President of Volvo Construction Equipment and a member of the Volvo Group Executive Committee, effective June 5. Tony Helsham, currently President of Volvo CE Korea, has long international experience in the construction equipment field. "Since Samsung's excavator business was acquired in 1998, Tony Helsham has managed the integration process in a model way and it is very much due to him that this unit is today one of Volvo's most successful acquisitions", Leif Johansson, Volvo's Chief Executive Officer, says. "Based on both his industrial and commercial experience, Tony Helsham is well qualified to manage Volvo CE's continuing growth". Tony Helsham's successor as President of Volvo CE Korea will be named shortly.
