Volvo acquires further shares in Scania

VOLVO ACQUIRES FURTHER SHARES IN SCANIA Volvo has acquired a further 537,000 A shares and 9,330,599 B shares in Scania. The shares have been acquired at an average price of SEK 310 per share. Following the acquisition Volvo owns 25,490,660 A shares and 53,864,794 B shares in Scania, which corresponds to 28 percent of the voting rights and 39.6 percent of the share capital. After acquisition of the Scania shares which AB Volvo has agreed to acquire from Investor, Volvo will own 79,552,040 A shares and 55,373,487 B shares in Scania, which corresponds to 77.3 percent of the voting rights and 67.4 percent of the share capital.
