Volvo acquires further shares in Scania

VOLVO ACQUIRES FURTHER SHARES IN SCANIA Volvo has acquired a further 2,030,178 A shares and 2,752,016 B shares in Scania. The shares have been acquired at an average price of SEK 309 per share. Following the acquisition, Volvo owns 26,983,538 A shares and 47,286,211 B shares in Scania, which corresponds to 28.8 per cent of the voting rights and 37.1 per cent of the share capital. After acquisition of the Scania shares which AB Volvo agreed to acquire from Investor, Volvo will own 81.044.918 A shares and 48.794.904 B shares in Scania, which corresponds to 78.1 per cent of the voting rights and 64.9 per cent of the share capital.
