VOLVO TRUCKS' DELIVERIES JANUARY-APRIL 1999 Volvo Trucks' deliveries up to April 1999 recorded a total of 27,305 units. Sales showed the following distribution: 1998 1999 Europe, total 13,356 14,632 +10 of which Western Europe 12,052 14,007 +16 Eastern Europe 1,304 625 -52 North America 9,597 10,426 +9 South America 2,394 1,191 -50 Asia 1,401 557 -60 Other markets 662 499 -25 Total 27,410 27,305 +/-0 The deliveries during the first four months were on the same high level as in 1998. Increased deliveries in Western Europe and North America compensated lower volumes in South America, Asia and Eastern Europe. The order book is stable on a high level.
