VOLVO TRUCKS' DELIVERIES JANUARY-DECEMBER 1999 Volvo Trucks' deliveries up to December 1999 recorded a total of 85,087 units. Sales showed the following distribution: 1998 1999 % Europe, total 42,353 42,527 +/-0 of which Western Europe 37,809 39,625 +5 Eastern Europe 4,544 2,902 -36 North America 29,314 34,303 +17 South America 6,020 3,901 -35 Asia 3,762 2,723 -28 Other markets 1,829 1,633 -11 Total 83,278 85,087 +2 The deliveries from Volvo Trucks up to December increased totally by two per cent compared with the same period in 1998. In North America the demand was falling off somewhat during December. The order book is stable on a high level.
