VOLVO TRUCKS' DELIVERIES JANUARY-NOVEMBER 1998 Volvo Trucks' deliveries in January-November recorded a total of 74,835 units, an increase of 21 per cent, compared with the same period last year. Sales showed the following distribution: 1997 1998 Europe, total 30,604 37,318 +22 of which Western Europe 27,708 33,597 +21 Eastern Europe 2,896 3,721 +28 North America 18,904 26,649 +41 South America 6,370 5,671 -11 Asia 4,257 3,487 -18 Other markets 1,721 1,710 -1 Total 61,856 74,835 +21 The inflow of orders during this period increased by 18 per cent and the order book by 41 per cent compared with the same period in 1997.
