Acando builds integration platform for SCA

Report this content

Acando has signed an agreement with SCA Hygiene Products AB in respect of a strategic IT-project. SCA is upgrading and modernising the company’s SAP systems and within that project, Acando will implement a new integrations platform based on SAP Exchange (XI). SCA will thereby be able to further develop the system’s functionality and achieve better operational support.

The project is estimated to continue until February 2007 and is one of the most significant SAP XI projects in the Nordic countries at the moment. Acando is carrying out the implementation with the use of staff from Sweden as well as from the Acando subsidiary Webmedia Group in Estonia. The transaction was signed by the Acando subsidiary, e-motion technology consulting AB.

- The transaction clearly demonstrates the Acando group’s strength within SAP. Throughout the year, with the strategic acquisition of e-motion, we have strengthened our corporate resources and this agreement with SCA only confirms that our profound and broad competence within SAP is attractive on the market, says Lars Wollung, CEO Acando AB
