Acando strengthens the Group management team

Acando is strengthening the group management team by appointing Christer Norrman for Group Vice President. Christer will be responsible for the business development within the Acando Group, as well as for the international operations in Denmark, Finland, Great Britain, and the Baltic States/Eastern Europe.

Acando has enjoyed a strong growth over the past year, growing from the single market presence in Sweden in the autumn of 2005 to the present, with operations in eight countries in Northern Europe.

- We now stand better prepared than ever before to further develop our business to identify and implement business improvements for our clients through information technology. This tremendous growth also means that we need to adapt our management capacity to the new situation, says Lars Wollung.

Christer Norrman has longstanding experience from leading international positions within IT and management consulting; besides his own consultancy company, most recently from Guide in the role of Managing Director. Prior to this, he has worked for more than ten years for the Capgemini Group, including the position as CEO for an American subsidiary.
