Acando Oy has signed an agreement with Altia Corporation in Finland in respect of a blueprint for the implementation in five countries of the ERP system SAP ERP 2005.

- With the new system, we will streamline, coordinate and integrate our operations, to create one operational business platform for whole Altia Corporation. We chose Acando because the company showed impressive experience of our industry as well as of SAP implementations, says Tuomas Itkonen, CFO Altia Corporation .

The first phase of the commission refers to a so-called blueprint, a survey showing how to adapt the system to Altia’s processes; after this will follow the actual implementation in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The implementation process is planned to be finalised in the beginning of 2008.

- The transaction is significant for the continued growth of Acando in Finland. We have a small company here but have demonstrated that the closeness and flexibility of a local company may combine with the strong resources of the international group, says Ferhat Kaya, Managing Director Acando Oy.

Altia Corporation is an international company focusing on beverages and in particular wines and spirits. The company is present in the Nordic and Baltic countries, representing international quality brands from all over the world. Altia’s estimated turnover in 2006 exceeded EUR 450 million with approximately 1,100 employees.
