AcandoFrontec AB (publ) and Flextronics Group Sweden AB have resolved their pension dispute

Report this content

AcandoFrontec and Flextronics have reached an agreement in their pension dispute. The agreement also covers a number of other unresolved issues between the two companies. Among other things, Flextronics will renounce its claim of SEK 34 million stemming from the pension issue and AcandoFrontec will adjust its guarantees for taxes and labor law disputes. In the summer of 2002 AcandoFrontec (then Frontec) sold its subsidiary BlueLabs to Flextronics. Within the framework of this agreement, a difference of opinion arose in its interpretation, including with regard to the level of pension provisions (ITP pensions). For AcandoFrontec, the agreement that has now been reached means that an uncertainty factor for future results has been removed, although the agreement has no impact on earnings.
