AcouSort’s Senior Scientist Mikael Evander has been asked to give an invited lecture at Acoustofluidics 2023, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Acoustofluidics is a conference dedicated to exploring the science, the engineering, and the use of micro and nanoscale acoustofluidics. The first conference was held in 2003 as part of a UK based network called USWnet. Today, the conference has grown into an international event gathering researchers working with all different aspects of acoustofluidics and its applications within life sciences.

The opportunity to give an invited lecture at an event like acoustofluidics is a significant recognition of AcouSort’s commercial as well as scientific contribution to the field. AcouSort is relentlessly working to establish acoustofluidics as the next Gold Standard for automated sample preparation at the same time as the Company strives to push the technological and scientific boundaries of the technology even further.

The conference will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, so participation will also provide an excellent opportunity to make demo visits in the US to follow up on the leads gathered at BIO2023 and CYTO during early summer.

“The request to Mikael for giving an invited lecture at Acoustofluidics 2023 makes us very proud, and the conference will provide a fantastic opportunity for presenting AcouSort and our technology to our scientific peers,” says AcouSort’s CEO Torsten Freltoft.
