European Civil Society to Discuss the Future of Open Trade in Prague on October 31, 2022
Civil Society Organisations from across Europe will discuss EU trade policy in the context of an increasingly uncertain economic and geopolitical context. What are the challenges, what are the priorities and what is the role of an open rules-based trade agenda in such circumstances?
What will be discussed
On 31 October 2022, Executive-Vice President Dombrovskis and Trade Minister Síkela will discuss with civil society these questions, share their views about ongoing developments in EU trade policy and listen to the different positions of participants.
The event hosted at the Corinthia Hotel in Prague, will be moderated by Ondřej Houska, a journalist for the Czech newspaper Hospodářské noviny.
