British Made Innovation Ray® Tool Appoints Active Products as Distributor
Essex based company Active Products have been appointed UK distributors for Ray®, the innovative British made sealant tool created by inventor and founder Roger Morley of Batoidea Ltd.
Supplying some of the UKs largest retailers including B&Q, Tesco and Homebase, Active Products are best known for their original AP lighting range created in 2003.
With their logistics expertise and relationships with the DIY, Grocery and Wholesale sector Active Products now represent a number of brands from their UK distributorship agreements including No Weed™ Dansand®, Turtle Wax, the world’s leading brand in car care products and more recently in 2016, the sealant finishing tool Ray®.
The Ray® is proving to be an indispensable addition to plumbers, builders and DIY enthusiasts’ tool-kit. The time saving device helps reduce product wastage and gives users the confidence to create the perfect finishing touch when working with all types of silicone, fillers and putty.

The Ray® is indeed a remarkably simple, but clever little device that takes on the challenge of creating a perfect finished seal. Made from a single piece of moulded polypropylene with two wings sprung from the central body which converge at the surface of a joint. When passed along the seal, the Ray® simultaneously cuts away and collects the residual material, whilst smoothing the surface of the silicone for a beautiful, clean, mess free finish.
