AddLife acquires Zafe Care Systems AB

Zafe Care Systems AB implements welfare technology in sheltered housing and ordinary accommodation for the elderly, as well as in LSS group housing for people with disabilities and assistive device centres. Welfare technology contributes to increased security and quality of life for the individual while improving and streamlining efforts in care and social care. The company is a well-established provider of welfare technology to more than 200 of Sweden’s municipalities.

It has 21 employees and net sales of approximately SEK 34 million, with sales, installation and service being carried out by its own staff.

“The acquisition is fully in line with our vision to improve people’s lives and enable the elderly to receive more secure and higher quality care. Zafe Care Systems provides an excellent addition to our existing welfare technology business in Norway through its subsidiary Hepro AS, while establishing ourselves as a supplier of welfare technology in Sweden,” said Kristina Willgård, CEO, AddLife AB.

The acquisition is expected to have only a marginally positive effect on AddLife’s earnings per share in the 2020 financial year.
