AddLife’s Norwegian subsidiary Hepro has won a major procurement contract in welfare technology with Oslo Municipality. The order, which is worth about NOK 120 million, is for high-quality and effective monitoring of healthcare and social services with special consideration for user privacy. The welfare technology that Hepro will deliver involves a digital platform, as well as assistive devices for home use as well as for nursing homes and senior housing facilities. AddLife acquired Hepro in February 2017.

Oslo Municipality set high demands for the supplier that would provide welfare technology to the elderly residents of the municipality. The goal of the solution is to increase efficiency and quality of care, reduce the risk of accidents and injuries, while maintaining the quality of life and privacy of users.

Hepro offers a broad portfolio of products and services in the field of welfare technology that includes supplying both hardware and software, as well as installation and service. The functionality of the solution can be expanded to be adapted to meet the increased need for help among users. In addition to technology that monitors potential risks or accidents in the home, Hepro can also provide assistive devices for purposes such as moving around within and outside the home.

- “We are proud that Oslo Municipality has entrusted us with this contract. As a developer and provider of welfare technology, our driving force is always to secure products and services that enable more people to feel safe either at home or in senior housing facilities. Safety  includes the possibility to expand the solution as their need for help increases” says Kurt Kristoffersen, CEO of Hepro AS.

Hepro will deliver welfare technology to Oslo Municipality over a two-year period with the option to extend the contract for two years. The value of the contract is estimated at about NOK 120 million.

- “Our subsidiaries throughout Europe work every day to add value for customers in the healthcare sector. The products and services that our group can provide will help to achieve safe and efficient care for providers, patients and society at large. Quality is a key factor in our sector. The contract from Oslo Municipality is proof that our companies live up to the high standards of our customers,” says Kristina Willgard, CEO of AddLife.
