Addtech acquires Active Care Sverup AB

Addtech Life Science, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire all shares outstanding in Active Care Sverup AB.

Active Care offers medical technology products and related consumables. The company has a strong position in the Swedish market regarding products for pharmaceutical inhalation for certain types of lung- and respiratory passage illnesses. Active Care has eight employees and sales of around SEK 25 million.

Within the health care segment the business area Addtech Life Science focuses on sales of reagents and diagnostics equipment in the Nordic region. Active Care complements and broadens the business area's operations with medical technology products.

The closing will take place today and the acquisition is estimated to have a marginally positive effect on Addtech's earnings per share during the current financial year.
