Addtech acquires company in blasting media

Addtech Equipment, a business area in the Addtech Group, has concluded an agreement to buy all shares outstanding in Blästerprodukter i Köping AB. Seller is Lars Jansson via a company.

Blästerprodukter had 2005 revenues of MSEK 22 and sells blasting media and spare parts and accessories for blasting equipment, primarily to Swedish manufacturing industry.
 
The acquisition is an excellent fit with existing businesses in Addtech Equipment that sell equipment and consumable supplies for mechanical surface treatment and surface cleaning.
 
The intention is to retain Blästerprodukter as an independent unit in the Addtech Group.
 
The acquisition is estimated to have a direct, if marginal, effect on Addtech's earnings per share during the current financial year. Closing is expected to take place 30 June 2006.
