Addtech acquires diagnostics business
Bergman Diagnostika AS in business area Addtech Life Science has concluded an agreement to acquire the diagnostic business of Ervik AS in Norway.
The business includes sales of instruments, consumables and reagents from leading suppliers in Europe. Most customers are found among laboratories that perform analysis for the health care sector in Norway.
The acquired business complements Bergman Diagnostika with leading products and a strong position in interesting market niches judged to have good development potential. Bergman Diagnostika has annual sales of MNOK 66 and the acquired business adds approximately MNOK 5 in annual sales volume.
Possession of the business acquired is expected to be taken 3 June, 2005.
