Addtech acquires Kaptas Oy

Addtech Automation, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire all shares outstanding in Kaptas Oy (“Kaptas”).

Kaptas develops and delivers automation systems primarily to customers in pharmaceutical industry, plastic, metal, electronics and food industry. The company has 27 employees and sales of around EUR 4 million.

Kaptas will very effectively complement Addtech´s current operations in the business area Automation and the operation in our Finnish subsidiary Movetec Oy.

The closing is expected to take place beginning of September and is estimated to have a marginally positive effect on Addtech’s earnings per share during the current financial year.
