Addtech acquires MCS Europe Group B.V.

Addtech Automation, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire 100 % of the shares outstanding in MCS Europe Group B.V. (“MCS”)

MCS is a leading supplier of products and services for Industrial mobile networks and Industrial IoT in the Netherlands and Belgium. The company is headquartered in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, has 19 employees and annual sales of approximately EUR 7 million.

“MCS has cutting edge expertise and a very attractive value proposition in the fast-growing segment of Industrial IoT wireless connectivity. With the acquisition of MCS we complement and strengthen our operation within business unit Industrial IT & Sensors in a very good way” says Martin Fassl, Business Area Manager Addtech Automation.

The closing will take place in the beginning of January and is estimated to have a marginally positive effect on Addtech’s earnings per share during the current financial year.
