Addtech acquires Nuova Elettromeccanica Sud S.p.A.

Addtech Energy, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire 100 % of the shares outstanding in Nuova Elettromeccanica Sud S.p.A. (”NES”).

NES develops, manufactures and sells equipment and components for electric transmission lines and substations. The company has long been established as a supplier to grid operators, primarily in Europe. NES has 60 employees and a turnover of approximately EUR 14 million and is headquartered in Rome, Italy.

NES further develops our position as a global supplier of high-voltage transmission equipment and complements our operations in the Energy Supply business unit.

The closing takes place today. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Addtech's earnings per share during the current financial year.
