Adera: SACO becomes new Astrakan customer The Adera subsidiary, Astrakan, has been assigned to conduct a preliminary study for the new website of the SACO trade union organization. Astrakan won the bidding in competition with four other suppliers. The website of SACO (Swedish Confederation of Professional Associations) represents an important channel for influencing public opinion. Work has therefore begun on creating a new website that better corresponds to visitors' demands for information and user-friendliness. Astrakan has been assigned by SACO to conduct a preliminary study for the new website. The results of the preliminary study will form the specification of requirements describing the goals of the new website and the functions it should contain. SACO will then use these specifications in the bidding process for the actual production of the website. "A preliminary study represents the strategic phase in the development of a new website. Astrakan has shown that it is a supplier with a well- developed methodology for this type of project. It is clear that the people at Astrakan know what they are doing and why it must be done," says Anna Kopparberg, project manager and responsible for the bidding process at SACO. The preliminary study is expected to be completed during October. "This is an agreement that suits Astrakan perfectly. We have won the honor of carrying out the strategic work for SACO. Naturally, we hope that this will also lead to our being given the opportunity to handle the implementation of the project," says C-G Lövetoft, President of Astrakan.
