Adera acquires Danish Internet consulting firm Brændpunkt A/S Through acquisition of Danish Brændpunkt, Adera strengthens its position as an e-business supplier in Denmark. Brændpunkt works with Internet-based business solutions and design in the areas of e-commerce, online branding, communications and PR. The focus is on advisory services and development of websites and extranets. Brændpunkt has 12 employees with many years of experience in Internet development. The company's customers include Maersk, KMPG Consulting, Telia Mobil and Berlingske On Line. "After the acquisition of Brændpunkt, Adera in Denmark will comprise 30 employees. Before year-end, we expect there will be 50 employees," says Jörgen Ericsson, Adera's CEO. "The integration between Brændpunkt and Adera Denmark provides us with a skilled and quality oriented team in Copenhagen that is well-equipped to handle the rapidly growing e-business market in Denmark," says Richard Törnblom, Senior Vice President of Adera and responsible for operations in Europe. "I also expect that the integration of the two companies will proceed very rapidly since the strategic and cultural orientations are so similar." "During the past eight months we have received 12 acquisition offers," says Henrik A. Combined, we will build a strong unit in Denmark, with favorable prospects for further growth." The purchase price of SEK 24 M was paid in Adera B shares and gives Adera a Group comprising 550 employees in seven countries.
