Adera buys the Swedish IT company, ITage AB With its purchase of the systems integrator ITage, a consultancy company working in eBusiness and Knowledge Management, Adera is focusing even more on supplying solutions with third parties' products. ITage has established collaborations with companies such as Abalon, Cognos, IFS and Nocom, making it an established supplier of comprehensive solutions in the fields of eBusiness and Knowledge Management for large and medium-sized European companies. These many partnerships allow ITage to integrate standardised components in order to create competitive advantages for its clients. Some of ITage's clients are NCC, Elektronik- gruppen, ABB and Pocketmail "This acquisition will allow Adera to benefit from important synergetic gains between the two companies' different partnerships," says Jörgen Ericsson, Adera's CEO. "Our overall market is broadened, while at the same time we are supplied with advanced skills within CRM, "Business Intelligence Datawarehouse", Document Management and system/web- development." Adera's presence in Stockholm and Gothenburg is further strengthened by ITage's 23 employees being located in both these cities. In 1999 ITage's turnover was 11.5 MSEK, producing a result after net financial incomes and expenses of 0.8 MSEK. It is estimated that this purchase will have a positive influence on income for Adera during 2000. The 34 MSEK purchase price is being paid with Adera B-shares and this means that Adera, as a group, now have 475 employees in eight countries. "We are, in the near future, looking forward to become an integrated part of the Adera group in order to secure faster development internationally and to benefit from Adera's skills in the areas of business strategy and market communications," says Stefan Hultberg, MD of ITage Adera AB (publ.) is Europe's first E-bureau.
