Adera: Duni and Astrakan launch international website A few days ago, Duni launched its new website, which is aimed at broadening and strengthening the Duni brand and showing that the company can do more than merely produce table napkins. Adera-owned Astrakan had overall responsibility for the development of the website, which is based on Astrakan's E-core (MS) platform. Duni's website is multinational, meaning that the information it contains is available in several different languages. The aim of the assignment was to create a site that would show the breadth of Duni's operations. "We needed assistance in creating a coherent communication channel for the divisions within the Duni Group, and we also wanted to acquire a user-friendly administrative tool," explains Jens Tångeberg, Director Corporate Communications at Duni. "Astrakan has succeeded in delivering a website that fulfills our objectives." Initially, working jointly with Duni, Astrakan carried out a prestudy that served to define the strategic guidelines and visions for the project. Based on the initial preparatory work, Duni decided to construct the site on Astrakan's E-core platform. "E-core (MS) is a Microsoft based platform developed by us that consists of a series of components for publishing the contents of websites," says Patrik Persson, key account manager for Duni at Astrakan. "Based on the E-core (MS) platform, we have built a website for Duni that is both dynamic and simple to use."
