Jörgen Ericsson appointed new corporate CEO and President of Adera Adera's Board of Directors has appointed Jörgen Ericsson as the company's new corporate CEO and President. He will assume this position today, March 1st 2000. With Jörgen Ericsson as CEO, Adera will develop into Europe's leading quality supplier of complete e-business solutions i.e. the integration of business strategies, market positioning and advanced IT solutions. Adera's previous CEO, Rolf Jansson who was also the founder of the company, will remain as a member of the company's Board of Directors. In addition, he will become the working Chairman of the Board of the newly established Adera Venture Zone which will focus on supporting entrepreneurs in the establishment and development of competitive e- business companies. Jörgen Ericsson began at Adera as Deputy CEO in February of last year and has since established the company's strategy/business development unit. Adera has also undergone a major reorganisation under Jörgen's leadership which has included the creation of "Industry Centers" which have strengthened Adera's expertise in key business areas. In addition, "Centers of Excellence" have been created which will enable Adera to develop leading concepts and methodology in order to assist customers to adapt to the new business logic. Before Jörgen became Adera's Deputy CEO he worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company for six years. The last three years of which he was responsible for McKinsey's e-business initiatives in Scandinavia. Jörgen Ericsson has already formed a new, strong management team that will secure company expansion in Sweden and in the rest of Europe generally. " We will now speed up significantly.
