A West Yorkshire man is hosting an evening with international stars to raise money for Leeds-based charity coHearentVision. People across Yorkshire are being invited by Andrew Holt to ‘An Evening With…’ which boasts an incredible line up including world-class opera singer Helen England and West End star Lisa Faye. ‘An Evening With…’ is being organised by Andrew alongside his fundraising mission to cycle from London to Paris later this year and will take place on Saturday 2nd April at Centenary House, North Street, Leeds from 7pm. Lisa Faye joins the event straight from London’s West End, where she has just finished a sell-out season of her one woman show ‘Streisand – The Concert’. Lisa has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and on stage with acts including Jane McDonald, Tony Hadley, and Charlotte Church. Opera Diva Helen England will be supporting coHearentVision after captivating audiences with her voice across the country and internationally where she has even performed on the pitch at the Ajax Stadium in Amsterdam for Manchester United. Andrew himself will be reuniting with his musical partner Neil Senior for a special one-off performance of their hit 2006 show ‘One Night Only’, and Maureen and Doreen from the award winning Beatherder festival will compere the event. Tickets cost £5 and £2.50 for children, and proceeds will be donated to coHearentVision. Guests will also be able to enter a raffle on the evening to win a signed book from BBC Countryfile presenter Julia Bradbury and a signed CD from Brit Award winner Ellie Goulding. Andrew said: “I am incredibly determined to raise as much money as I can for coHearentVision through the London to Paris cycle ride and by hosting ‘An Evening With…’. I have seen first hand the incredible work it does with sensory impaired people in Yorkshire and hope people will offer their support by attending this unique event.” Vicki Roe, Business and Community Relations Manager at coHearentVision, said: “We are hugely grateful to Andrew for choosing coHearentVision as the charity he wants to support. We were delighted that he wanted to organise a musical evening to help raise money and we hope people will want to attend as there is a huge level of talent on display.
