CLONDALKIN GROUP APPOINTS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER TO SPECIALIST PACKAGING DIVISION
International packaging producer Clondalkin Group has appointed Mark Rooney as chief operating officer for its Specialist Packaging Division. Rooney has extensive experience working at management and director levels in the packaging industry. He has particular expertise within the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, which will support the Group’s strategic growth plans within these sectors. To support Clondalkin Group’s vision to become a market leader in Europe, Rooney will be responsible for the implementation of operational plans for the division’s 14 operating companies and will drive the performance of its key assets to ensure optimal efficiency across the division. Rooney will lead the division’s well established Kaizen process improvement programmes and will oversee all plant investments and developments across the division, as well as being heavily involved in all aspects of the company’s mergers and acquisition plans across Europe.
