A leading Yorkshire college is helping to keep adults learning by developing hobby skills and improving employment prospects after a series of cuts to the sector. Shipley College has launched its latest range of spring courses for adult learners, including qualifications to suit all levels and ages. The range of courses includes Digital Photography for Weddings, Reflexology, Reiki, Modern Languages, Website Design, Painting and Drawing – and the College says all forms of adult learning are a great way to enhance quality of life and improve a CV. Nav Chohan, Principal of Shipley College, said: “At the college we are aiming to provide adults with access to learning despite the recession and two years of cuts.
