BROWN BROTHERS CONFIRM UK LOGISTICS MOVE TO CERT OCTAVIAN

Family owned South East Australian wine producers Brown Brothers have agreed a five year contract with premium product logistics provider Cert Octavian. Under the new contract Cert Octavian will manage port to warehouse haulage, storage and distribution of Brown Brothers diverse range of wines. Cert Octavian will despatch to major retailers, wholesalers and independents across the UK and Europe handling over 360,000 cases per year, across 65 Brown Brothers product lines. Brown Brothers took the decision to move their UK logistics operation to Cert Octavian after 15 years with their previous supplier. Brendan Schutt, Chief Financial Officer for Brown Brothers was particularly impressed with the quality of Cert Octavian’s warehousing in Hoddesdon, “The Hoddesdon facility is state of the art and reminded us so much of our own facility in Victoria, Australia. It is very lean and efficient and can help us to drive cost savings in all areas of the logistics process. Cert Octavian is able to demonstrate high levels of care as well as a national, flexible transport solution.
