LORD Corporation Receives Silver Boeing Performance Excellence Award
LORD Corporation – a leader in the management of vibration, noise and motion control – received a 2014 Boeing Performance Excellence Award.
The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. LORD Corporation maintained a Silver composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2013 to Sept. 30, 2014.
This year, 548 suppliers achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award according to information posted at http://www.boeingsuppliers.com/recognition/. LORD is among 429 suppliers to be awarded the Silver level of recognition. Only 2.6 percent of Boeing suppliers have earned the Gold or Silver status.
A supplier to The Boeing Company for more than 45 years, LORD provides Boeing with a myriad of specialized components for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
