Advenica launches second generation of Data Diode DD1G for one-way Gigabit data flow

Advenica is proud to announce the release of the second generation Gigabit Ethernet-based data diode DD1G.

The DD1G is a pure hardware data diode enabling physically enforced one-way data flow for Ethernet Layer 2. It is an essential product in the Advenica data diode portfolio that can be used either as a stand-alone robust cybersecurity solution or in combination with the Advenica proxy software Data Diode Engine, for more advanced applications.

The second generation comes with a major upgrade of usability and design as well as several new product features. Three different mounting options are combined in one model – stand-alone, rack and DIN-rail. The new DD1G is also Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled, improving scalability and simplifying installations.

The new generation DD1G marks the continued investment and strong commitment from Advenica in its data diode portfolio.
