Advenica receives an order from a new customer in Singapore
The Swedish cybersecurity company Advenica has received an order through their partner in Singapore, Athena Dynamics Pte Ltd. The order is for Advenica’s product SecuriCDS data diode, DD1000i that ensures unidirectional data traffic. Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2017 and the order value is EUR 48,600.
Advenica who has sales offices in Sweden, Finland and Austria have now received their first order from Singapore. The order is for the company's data diode that ensures that the information can only pass in one direction thereby preventing sensitive information from being transferred in the opposite direction. Data diodes are used primarily to let secure networks receive data from an open or lower classified network. The products are a powerful solution to secure exchange of information and the application where SecuriCDS DD1000i will be used, is to ensure a high degree of integrity for video surveillance equipment to customers within critical infrastructure.
“In our ambition to create a larger customer base for our products, this order is a milestone in the form of a significant customer within critical infrastructure. Our partner has done impressive work in supporting their customer through the selection process. We look forward to continue with this good cooperation”, says Anders Strömberg, VP Marketing, Advenica AB.
Advenica’s data diodes was approved in October this year by the Swedish Armed Forces on component assurance level N3 which made the company's data diodes the only diodes approved at that level. After evaluation of the product assurance and functionality had been done the customer chose Advenica’s solution amongst world-class competitors.
“We are impressed by the quality of engineering work and the professional ways of Advenica. It is truly encouraging to see that the hard-work of both parties has paid-off. As an appointed sole distributor, this is not just a strategic win into a major establishment for Athena, but an important milestone and reference for both parties to chart the next level of pursuits in Singapore and the Asia Pacific Region. We believe that this, coupled with Athena’s unique non-detection centric cybersecurity platforms, should bring about a new and unprecedented level of protection to organisations at large”, says Ken Soh, CEO, Athena Dynamics Pte Ltd.
