Affecto will implement an Enterprise Asset Management solution for Lithuania’s natural gas transmission system operator, Amber Grid AB

Amber Grid AB, operator of Lithuania’s natural gas transmission system, has contracted Affecto Lietuva to implement its Technological Asset Management System. 

Once implemented, the IFS system will manage the inventory, asset, purchasing, contract, work, project, and maintenance processes for Amber Grid.

Valued at over €1.1M, the agreement will additionally provide software licenses and a three-year warranty related to the planned IFS applications. The contract was signed on 27 December, and implementation will begin in January 2017.

Amber Grid AB oversees the transmission of natural gas throughout Lithuania and ensures the operation, maintenance and development of the country’s natural gas transmission system.
