Advansia, part of AFRY, is the contractual part of the two framework agreements. The agreements are aimed at facilitating the further development and expansion of the transmission network in Norway and includes both project management services and detailed engineering services.

Statnett, the state-owned enterprise responsible for Norway's power transmission system, must renew and improve the main power grid across the country. A robust and well-functioning power grid is important for enabling the green shift and a sustainable value creation, as well as securing the power capacity and supply.

“The transition of energy consumption in society is a prioritized focus area for us. We are proud to be part of the ongoing efforts to develop the power grid system of the future together with Statnett. A validation of our expertise and capabilities in successfully delivering large-scale development projects”, says Christopher Klepsland, country manager for AFRY in Norway and CEO of Advansia.

The value of the two framework agreements won by Advansia is estimated to be approximately MNOK 130 per year on average for the next four years, with an option for a four-year extension.

The first framework agreement involves EPCM deliveries, which include both project management services and detailed engineering services. The contract has been awarded to Advansia in collaboration with AFRY Norway, AFRY Denmark, and IKM Elektro.

The second framework agreement awarded to Advansia involves project management services and encompasses all necessary roles Statnett requires to plan and implement their projects.
