Through the framework agreement, AFRY will assist the Norwegian Nuclear Decommissioning agency (NND) with competence and capacity in programme and project management services.

NND is the government agency responsible for safely decommissioning nuclear facilities in Norway and developing effective solutions for the disposal of nuclear waste. Through the framework agreement, NND has secured the necessary expertise to effectively lead and execute their programmes and projects.

"AFRY offers a range of services that ensure NND has access to the best expertise to tackle the challenging tasks associated with decommissioning. We will work together with NND to find comprehensive solutions, enabling them to achieve their mission,” says Christopher Klepsland, Country Manager for AFRY in Norway.

The framework agreement has a duration of four years, with an option to extend for an additional two years. A total of six companies have secured agreements with NND, with an estimated combined value of up to 890 MSEK. The order value for AFRY is not specified.
