airBaltic partners with AFRY to drive maintenance excellence
airBaltic has teamed up with AFRY to implement the cutting-edge AMOS (Aircraft Maintenance and Operational Support) system, setting a new benchmark for efficiency and innovation in aviation maintenance. This project is designed to enhance operational performance, streamline maintenance processes, and support airBaltic's ambitious growth trajectory.
airBaltic is the leading airline in the Baltics connecting the region with key destinations across Europe and beyond. They have chosen AFRY as its trusted partner to lead and support the implementation of the AMOS system, a leading maintenance management solution for the aviation industry. The 18-month project marks a pivotal step in airBaltic’s strategy to enhance operational efficiency and improve data accuracy.
The AMOS system will transform and optimise key aspects of airBaltic’s maintenance processes, including scheduling, inventory management, documentation, and real-time data management. By seamlessly integrating these functions, AMOS will empower airBaltic with more precise control over its operations and enable the technical department to meet evolving industry demands.
AFRY brings aviation industry expertise and a proven track record in digital transformation to the project. Working closely with the airBaltic team, AFRY will ensure a smooth, effective implementation while positioning airBaltic for continued success.
Aleksandrs Vorobjovs, Head of Maintenance Workflow Digitalisation at airBaltic, adds, “We’re excited to lay the groundwork for growth and continuous improvement. AFRY’s deep expertise in AMOS and the aviation industry makes them the ideal partner to drive this transformation, and we look forward to achieving this together.”
“It’s an honour for us to support airBaltic’s commitment to world-class maintenance and operational excellence,” says Kim Hansen, Business Unit Manager Asset Management System at AFRY. “Through this partnership, we’ll make sure their technical department has the tools and support it needs to achieve their goals.”
