ÅF wins major work order of a 444MW hydro power project in India
ÅF has signed an agreement worth 2.15 CHF million with Hindustan ConstructionCompany Ltd (EPC Contractor). ÅF will provide construction design engineeringservices for the 444 MW Vishnugad Pipalkoti hydro electric project in UttarakandState of India, being implemented by Tehri Hydro Power Development Corporation,a public sector entity. The services will be jointly executed by ÅF unitsin India and Switzerland.
The project covers construction of 444MW hydropower Project, funded by World Bank and the components include:
