AGA'S TEST RESULTS ON CARBON DIOXIDE Last week the media reported that Coca Cola had to recall products in some European countries. One of the causes was said to be high concentration of sulfur compounds in carbon dioxide in the Coca Cola products. AGA supplies carbon dioxide to Coca Cola's bottling plant in Antwerp, Belgium. Careful analyses have proven that the carbon dioxide AGA supplied has fulfilled the given quality requirements. The usual regular analyses which are part of AGA's quality assurance system have been completed for the period in question. In addition, the carbon dioxide was analyzed at the point of production, at the point of distribution and in the storage facilities at Coca Cola in Antwerp with special attention to sulfur compounds. AGA has published a status report on the Internet at www.aga.com/CO2.htm which gives an overview of the course of events as well as the most important results of AGA's analysis. The results of the analysis have been put at the disposal of the respective authorities in Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany.
