Agellis receives first Scandinavian order for unique furnace measurement system.
AGELLIS Group, which develops and sells products and solutions to the global metals industry, has received an order totaling 660 KSEK for a new measurement system to be installed at Ovako Hofors Sweden.
The order relates to a system EMLI-FBL (Furnace Bath Level) that will measure the steel level in an EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) that is part of Ovako Hofors melting process. The measurement technology will provide operators with an automatic, accurate, reliable and safe method of monitoring important molten steel levels in this part of the process. The EMLI-FBL system is expected to be delivered and commissioned during the fourth quarter of 2013.
Patrik Fredriksson, Steel Plant Manager at Ovako Hofors says that; ”the EMLI-FBL system will provide us with the unique possibility of taking bath level measurements with electrode power on or power off. This information will be used to develop our process even further”.
