Christina Almtun Appointed as New European Head at Agria
19th March 2025: Agria Pet Insurance welcomes Christina Almtun as the new head of the European business area, tasked with leading and developing the business in line with the company's goal of becoming the leading pet insurance company in Europe.
In addition to being responsible for the existing markets in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Ireland - Christina Almtun will also lead growth in future expansions into new countries – with millions of uninsured pets and horses in the European market creating enormous growth potential.
Christina most recently comes from insurance company Svedea, where she was the commercial head for 13 years. Prior to that, she worked at If, where she held several leading positions focusing on business development, strategic integration, sales, and distribution. Christina will assume her new role at Agria on August 18, 2025.
