AGRIA LAUNCHES ITS GAME-CHANGING HORSE INSURANCE IN IRELAND

Cork, Ireland – 2nd October, 2024 – Agria, a leading European provider of pet insurance, is proud to announce the launch of Ireland's first-ever comprehensive horse insurance policy covering veterinary fees. This policy is designed to provide horse owners with peace of mind, offering protection against unexpected medical costs.

Lifetime equine insurance, which covers horses for vet fees, loss of use and mortality, is now launching in Ireland, and sets the standard in vet fee cover because: 

• Chronic conditions or ongoing injuries — providing they first arise once the cover is in place — can be covered year after year, for the horse’s whole lifetime
• Agria’s policies offer up to €10,000 of veterinary fee cover a year
• Affordable monthly premiums
• Policies may be taken out from 30 days of age, and there is no reduction in the vet cover offered as the horse grows older
• Horses may be insured from any age, up to any age for illness as well as injury
• Cover is offered for both horses and ponies you either own, or have on loan
• If a horse is sold, the new owner may take on the existing Agria insurance policy if they wish, with full continuity of cover
