Christina Almtun Appointed as New European Head at Agria

Agria welcomes Christina Almtun as the new head of the European business area. With ultimate responsibility for operations in seven countries, she is tasked with leading and developing the business in line with the company's goal of becoming the leading pet insurance company in Europe.

With her extensive background in the insurance industry and proven track record in leading growth and building successful companies, Christina brings the experience, energy, and commitment needed for the role. Agria is headquartered in Sweden and operates in seven European countries: Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. In addition to being responsible for the existing markets, Christina Almtun will also lead growth in future expansions into new countries. Millions of uninsured pets and horses in the European market create enormous growth potential.

Christina most recently comes from insurance company Svedea, where she was the commercial head for 13 years. Prior to that, she worked at If, where she held several leading positions focusing on business development, strategic integration, sales, and distribution. Christina will assume her new role at Agria on August 18, 2025.
