Dogs Trust Ireland Chosen as Charity Partner for Agria Dog Walk 2026
Agria Petinsure, Ireland’s specialist pet insurer, has today announced Dogs Trust Ireland as the official charity partner for the Agria Dog Walk 2026. The Agria Dog Walk is a nationwide initiative designed to bring together dog lovers across the country while raising vital funds for Dogs Trust.
Taking place on 24th May, the Agria Dog Walk encourages dog owners across Ireland to show their support by simply taking their dog for a walk. Participants can register online in advance to take part.
For every dog registered, Agria will donate €5 to Dogs Trust Ireland, helping to fund the charity’s essential work in rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs, as well as delivering digital training courses for dogs and aspiring dog professionals alike, and advocate for a better life for dogs in Ireland through running various advocacy-led campaigns.
Dogs Trust Ireland cares for over 1,200 dogs per year through their rehoming centre and three regional rehoming hubs across Ireland. Funds raised through the Agria Dog Walk will directly contribute to giving dogs a second chance at life and finding their forever home.

Dog owners of all ages are encouraged to take part, with participants able to walk anywhere, at any pace, making the event accessible to everyone.
