Alpcot Agro appoints new Managing Director

Alpcot Agro AB (“Alpcot Agro”) announces that it has recruited Jens Peter Aabyen as Managing Director. Mr Aabyen will start his employment with Alpcot Agro on 1 April 2011 and will be based in Alpcot Agro’s head office in Moscow.

Mr Aabyen is 39 year old and has an extensive experience from running and managing businesses in Russia. He joins Alpcot Agro from the position as Managing Director of Flexa Invest ApS, a company with investments in Russia, where he has also served as Chairman of Flexa Invest’s subsidiary ZAO Zapkarelles, a forestry company in the Karelia region of Russia. In 2008-2009 Mr Aabyen served as Managing Director of Dan-Invest, a company investing in and developing agricultural businesses in Eastern Europe.

Mr Aabyen has a background as lawyer (Danish Bar Exam) and holds a Master of Law degree from the University of Copenhagen.

Björn Lindström, the present Managing Director of Alpcot Agro, will continue to be fully committed to Alpcot Agro as an investment manager.
