Alpcot Agro in legal dispute in Ukraine

Report this content

As communicated in the half year report published on 31 August 2012, Alpcot Agro has an ongoing dispute with a former supplier of Landkom in Ukraine.

The dispute has recently developed as the counterparty has managed to initiate a bankruptcy proceeding against one of Alpcot Agro’s Ukraine subsidiaries.

Alpcot Agro will forcefully object to the proceedings, as it is the view of the Company that the application is unfounded, in breach of Ukrainian law and as the relevant claims due have already been paid. Alpcot Agro hence expects the bankruptcy proceeding to be properly dismissed.

Alpcot Agro will keep the market informed continuously about this matter.
