Alpcot Agro new name for agricultural company

The Board of Directors of Alpcot Russian Land Fund AB (publ), a Swedish company with operations in Russia within the agricultural sector, has proposed that the name of the company be changed to Alpcot Agro AB (publ) (”Alpcot Agro”). The change of name aims to i) clarify the line of business, ii) set out the long term operational objectives and iii) reflect the planned expansion of operations into Ukraine.

Alpcot Agro will use its new name in market communications and other contexts, with immediate effect. The formal decision to change the company name is planned to be made at the annual general meeting on May 13.
