Harvesting campaign started under favorable conditions

Report this content

Alpcot Agro AB has begun the harvesting campaign on its fields in the Lipetsk, Kursk, Tambov and Voronezh clusters as well as in Ukraine. In Kaliningrad the harvest will commence this week.

In central Russia, where the majority of Alpcot Agro’s fields are located, the conditions are ideal for harvesting with dry sunny weather and day temperatures of 30-32 degrees Celsius following two weeks of heavy rains.

The first winter wheat fields harvested in Tambov and Voronezh have yielded up to 4.3 tonnes per hectare.

Alpcot Agro has storage capacity for the entire grain harvest, which will allow the company to sell its produce at the most optimal time with regard to prices and the market situation in general.
